(More customer reviews)A neighbor has a nearly identical Wahl rechargeable pet clipper, so I thought this would be a good buy, as it's cheaper than retail.Unfortunately, it seems a bit underpowered.Our dog's coat is thick, and the clipper has trouble going through her fur without pulling.(Note that this isn't the same as getting caught in tangles or matting.)It just doesn't have the power of a corded model, even when used in that manner. Additionally, the blades on my unit came misaligned -- which may account for some of the pulling -- and I have not had time to take the thing apart to fix it.Although the included DVD contains detailed instructions on how to correct blade misalignment, the kit does not come with a Torx screwdriver to get the blade assembly apart.

On the plus side, the clipper is well made and comes with nearly all the attachments you might need.It's lightweight, easy to handle and holds a pretty decent charge.Also, Wahl offers lifetime free blade sharpening, provided you pay shipping.

Overall, I'd recommend this if you have a fairly easy-to-clip animal.

(More customer reviews)I just bought these clippers a few days ago.They were so easy to use, I can't believe I never tried this before! My husband didn't want me to clip the dogs myself, without training, because he thought they would look awful. They look terrific!An informational DVD is included, but I did not view it.I did read the directions prior to use.Very simple.Using them as a cordless clipper really makes things easy.

I read that some people had trouble with the battery, but there is a warning to charge the clippers for 24 hours prior to first use.I have two Cavalier King Charles puppies (1 year old).I was only able to clip one before re-charging, but I am probably very slow as a beginner.I just finished the second puppy, and I am even more pleased with the result than the first.

I purchased these clippers at my local WalMart for $45, but I wanted to let others know what a great deal they are.I believe that they paid for themselves with only one use on both dogs.

I am sure that if I wanted to pay $200 for a professional pair of clippers they would be much better.But these were great for the price, easy to use, easily powerful enough to clip my dogs. Now, if I can just figure out the nail clippers!!

Haven't used anything else before but I have no need this has always worked fine for me. This particular bottle could be a bit bigger, but that was my fault not paying attention to the oz.

(More customer reviews)I know this is cheap product and couldn't expect too much from it, but at least I thought it will work or turn on. I CANNOT even get this thing to WORK! If I send it back, the return shipping is about the same price as the product itself, which is not even worth it!

Let me save you all some money, do not buy this product! It does not work at all!
It's one thing to break after some use, but I did not get to use at all not even once.

You cannot even fit batteries in the battery compartment due to cheap design that won't even let batteries to properly fit in!

I'm so mad...!

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these for my wife to use in grooming touch-ups just before, and during, dog shows. She's had a number of big-money clippers, such as the 150-buck Osters and Wahls, that she used for grooming dogs and horses over the years, and I really thought this inexpensive little cordless tool would be a great disappointment to her.

Nope. She loves it, and it (along with a spare pack of batteries!) are a permanent part of her dog-show kit. It does just fine, assuming you aren't trying to do a full show-clip on a Poodle or a Great Pyrenees, and should be owned by anyone who does dog shows at all. My inclination is to stick to battery-operated ones like this and NOT the rechargeable ones. You can always stick in a fresh set of batteries in a hurry, but waiting for a re-charge, or trying to find a free 110-volt outlet at a dogshow ... impossible.

This is one of those rare times that you seem to get a tremendous amount of value from a very inexpensive product. And, it's a WAHL -- along with Oster, probably the top brand of professional clipper.It'd be worth it even if it were a Ronco, but having a Wahl gives you a sense of permanence and reliability, too.

(More customer reviews)I bought this blade for clipping my Affenpinscher/Miniature Schnauzer mix.It was recommended by a professional dog groomer to have this size blade to trim my dog during the winter months.Otherwise, I use a 7FC during Spring, Summer, and Fall months...getting her coat a little closer, but not too short.The #10 with attachments just didn't do the trick.However, getting the appropriate blade works perfectly.When purchasing these blades, make sure you buy the "finished cut" type, thus named "FC".Otherwise, the basic #blade will give you a rougher cut...not a smooth finish to the coat like most dog owners want.I absolutely love the easy changeability of these type blades.What else is nice...they are compatible with the Oster brand trimmer as well (although I have an Andis and recommend it...quiet and well made, also recommended by a professional groomer).You won't find a better price for these blades than ordering them from Amazon.com.I have checked many sites and stores.Bottom line...great product!!!
