the new ones do notcut as well. I use themfor clipping the hairs around mydoggie's eyes. they are adequate enough todo the job. I just wished they were assharp as the onesmade in Brazil. time marches on and the products we used to buy are not asgood as the old ones.

(More customer reviews)I have a small dog with long hair, but her coat is not very thick. The double row rake does a good job of removing tangles and mats, however when using the shedding blade over her back she kept crying like it hurt. I thought she was just being difficult so I ran it lightly down my are, the scratches were deep and painful.It may be fine for a dog who's coat is thick enough that it can't reach the skin, but it's not right for every dog.

(More customer reviews)I have a pair of these that I have used or about 10 years and they still have not needed sharpening.In fact I wasn't sure they even made them still.Wanted to get another pair if they did and sure enough they do!!!The only difference in mine is they don't have the added piece on the finger hole part to rest your ring finger on.Highly recommend them!

(More customer reviews)This scissors is slightly better than the seki edge junk that I bought previously. It is heavier therefore stronger and also sharper. The metal is of pretty good quality and it feels good in your hands. This I would say is a mid level product. I definitely have used better ones but given the lack of places to get thinning shears, this would still be much better than the seki edge scissors on Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I know this is cheap product and couldn't expect too much from it, but at least I thought it will work or turn on. I CANNOT even get this thing to WORK! If I send it back, the return shipping is about the same price as the product itself, which is not even worth it!

Let me save you all some money, do not buy this product! It does not work at all!
It's one thing to break after some use, but I did not get to use at all not even once.

You cannot even fit batteries in the battery compartment due to cheap design that won't even let batteries to properly fit in!

I'm so mad...!

(More customer reviews)I bought this blade for clipping my Affenpinscher/Miniature Schnauzer mix.It was recommended by a professional dog groomer to have this size blade to trim my dog during the winter months.Otherwise, I use a 7FC during Spring, Summer, and Fall months...getting her coat a little closer, but not too short.The #10 with attachments just didn't do the trick.However, getting the appropriate blade works perfectly.When purchasing these blades, make sure you buy the "finished cut" type, thus named "FC".Otherwise, the basic #blade will give you a rougher cut...not a smooth finish to the coat like most dog owners want.I absolutely love the easy changeability of these type blades.What else is nice...they are compatible with the Oster brand trimmer as well (although I have an Andis and recommend it...quiet and well made, also recommended by a professional groomer).You won't find a better price for these blades than ordering them from Amazon.com.I have checked many sites and stores.Bottom line...great product!!!
