I had 4 weeks of hair growth and on my first cut, my girlfriend shaved me clean bald with this clipper in just 5 to 10 minutes. There is no pain or feeling on the skin and it is equivalent to what one would experience when a barber clips your hair. While this clipper won't take you as close as a razor would, it is equivalent to a single day's hair growth which is exactly what most people like it to look like. This clipper is model #8110 and is part of Wahl's professional 5 star series, 785110. To my surprise, the package also included "a bonus" - two cutting guides (1/16" and 3/16"). This product should last for a few years and the included oil is to keep the blade rust free - it certainly would help if Wahl had provided more oil but that is really a trivial point. Likewise, while the cord is reasonably long, I would personally have preferred something a bit longer but this is just finicky me pointing another trivial point. Overall, this product is great, priced right, and is as advertised. Finally, it is made in the U.S.A. so that scores extra points from me!
