(More customer reviews)Oster clippers last forever, I suspect, if you oil them, but the original combs were relatively fragile.These new combs appear to be unbreakable nylon (just a guess because it feels like the same material that unbreakable regular combs are made from).That makes them a little more flexible (not so much that you risk a closer cut) and slightly harder to mount, but unless I'm missing something, they might actually outlast the clippers.My clipper is model 284-01 Series B.Sizes and shapes exact same as the original combs.I found matching the series and head profile to replacement combs to be confusing, but these combs (Oster Professional Products Part No. 76926-600) definitely fit at least my model (it says for Models 974, 284, 650, and 820 Adjustable Clippers on package).If it isn't clear from the photos, these combs are single-piece plastic (or nylon as it were), not the combs with the metal clips/mounts that some other clippers use.
